On Thursday, the All-ACC preseason accolades, as voted on by the media, were announced. As a team, UVA was picked to finish fourth in the conference, while, on the individual side, redshirt senior Mamadi Diakite was named to the preseason All-ACC team and freshman Casey Morsell received three votes for rookie of the year.
