NCAA Rankings Update: Virginia stays at #7 in AP, Drops to #8 in Coaches poll

After exacting revenge against the Hokies last week and a buzzer beater "loss" to Duke on Saturday, not much changed for the Cavaliers in the AP and Coaches Polls.

In the AP poll, the Hoos stayed put at #7 and are just 60 points behind #6 Maryland, who fell from #2 after losing at home to Wisconsin by 13. The Cavaliers were able to jump Xavier, who fell from #5, but North Carolina was able to jump UVa, Xavier, Michigan State, and Maryland after going 2-0 against Pittsburgh and Boston College.

UVa fell a spot in the USA Today-Coaches Poll to #8, thanks in large part to UNC's miraculous climb from #8 to #4.
