The Washington Capitals are one huge win away from securing their first ever Stanley Cup after the Caps notched a dominant 5-2 win over the Las Vegas Golden Knights in Game 4 on Monday night. With the win, the Caps extended their series lead to 3-1.
Before the game began, a couple big name baseball stars from the nearby Washington Nationals helped kick off the festivities. Pitcher Max Scherzer was joined by first baseman — and Virginia baseball alum — Ryan Zimmerman to lead the crowd in a raucous cheer.
