Fourth year linebacker Micah Kiser was named the Lott IMPACT Trophy Player of the Week for his outstanding performance against UConn on Saturday in Virginia’s 38-18 victory.
Kiser finished the game with a team-leading 15 tackles, including two sacks, and recovered a fumble on the goal line to end a Husky drive. For the season, Kiser has an ACC-leading 36 tackles and five sacks. With the win, the Lott IMPACT Trophy will donate $1,000 to Virginia’s general scholarship fund.
