Jordan Ellis talks high school, Grant Kersey, Tony Bennett give perspective

Over the weekend, Duke fans attempted to troll Virginia men’s basketball star Kyle Guy, while football landed 6-foot-2 185 pound Plaquemine, Louisiana wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks.

Looking back at his time at Virginia, UVa senior starting running back Jordan Ellis, who has carried the ball 189 times for 920 yards and nine touchdowns this year, says he has continued to use his time in high school for motivation. A native of Gwinnett County, Georgia, Ellis competed against current professional stars Chris Carson and Alvin Kamara while playing for Peachtree Ridge, “Just the passion that goes into the programs and the talent that has come out, it just drives you.
