With each passing week since the end of spring practice, the good news has remained constant for the Virginia Cavaliers, as they continue to bring in additional transfer prospects to sure up areas of need.
At the defensive back position, the addition of six new players this spring sets the table for what should be some of the most competitive position battles across the team come August, with former Georgia State defensive back Ja’Maric Morris set to contend for meaningful time in his first season as a Cavalier.
Morris heads to Charlottesville after starting his career at Georgia Military College, followed by stops at Hutchinson Community College, and UCF before landing at Georgia State where he played his 2024 season.
