With Week 2 of the NFL season in the books, here’s a rundown of how all the UVA alumni performed.
The major contributors:
Branden Albert, Miami Dolphins – After falling behind 24-0, the Dolphins offense caught fire. Albert started at LT and helped keep Ryan Tannehill upright all game. Tannehill wasn’t sacked despite throwing 45 passes. The Dolphins weren’t able to run the ball effectively, however.
Ahmad Brooks, San Francisco 49ers – The 49er defense was unable to slow down the Panther offense, giving up well over 500 yards. San Francisco was able to force 4 turnovers.
