He captured our hearts in Charlottesville. He did it again in Brooklyn. And now he’s going global as former Virginia Cavaliers’ star Joe Harris has made the 12-man USA Men’s World Cup Team roster, which was released on Saturday!
The team is coached by USA and San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich, and USA assistant coaches and Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, Atlanta Hawks head coach Lloyd Pierce and Villanova University head coach Jay Wright.
This is Joe’s first time on a Team USA roster as the Americans wrap up their training in Australia with three more practices and a final exhibition against Canada on August 26.
