The Virginia Cavaliers are among five finalists for five-star offensive lineman Zach Rice, who will be announcing his college decision on Thursday, October 21.
UVA is the closest school geographically among Rice’s finalists, with UNC-Chapel Hill, Notre Dame, Alabama, and Ohio State all in the mix as well.
Standing 6-foot-6 and weighing 300 pounds, Rice is rated a consensus five-star in the 247 Composite, and a top-20 prospect nationally by 247, ESPN, and Rivals. All three services rate him top-five nationally at his position and uniformly rank him as the #1 overall prospect in Virginia for 2022.
