After redshirting in 2013, Jack English was thrown into the offensive line rotation a lot earlier than UVa fans may have expected. After playing tight end and defensive line in high school, he was moved to the offensive side of the ball during camp but figured to serve more as depth at the position than an early big time contributor. However, injuries along the line led to significant time for English, including 60 plays at left tackle in the game against Florida State.
