Though he did not commit on his official visit last week, many close to the Virginia football program felt that it was only a matter of time before Florida running back LaDerrien Wilson pulled the trigger.
As it turned out, the wait only lasted eight days.
On Sunday night, the three-star running back provided the good news many were waiting for, and committed to the Orange and Blue.
Wilson selected UVa over offers from in-state schools, Florida State, Miami, and UCF, along with Duke, Iowa State, and several other FBS programs. The 5-10, 205-pound running back is a consensus three-star recruit across the many online services.
