Thanks to their sweep in Friday night's doubleheader, Virginia was able to come away with the series win despite dropping game three by a score of 9-8. Wake Forest used a six run sixth inning to take a commanding 8-1 lead that looked like it might be enough to salvage a weekend win. But the Hoos came roaring back getting two runs in the sixth, three runs in the seventh, and the two tying runs in the eighth.
