As is the case with many others who grow up in the Washington metro area, Virginia Cavaliers linebacker Charles Snowden considers himself more politically active than most.
The second-year from the D.C. suburb of Silver Spring, Md. was the guest on Bronco Mendenhall’s radio show Tuesday night, and host Dave Koehn brought up the fact that previous players suggested that Snowden would be the most likely Cavalier to run for president one day. When asked why that is, Snowden said that that’s likely because of his outspoken nature on Twitter.
“I’m very politically active and aware on Twitter, and I carry that in the locker room as well.
