Cavaliers’ Infielder to Transfer

With the UVa season coming to an end last week, the team has been going through their end of the year meetings with the coaching staff. Players discuss their previous season, what they are doing during the summer, and how things look going into next season.

And it is no surprise that with these meetings comes disappointment with how much playing time someone saw and how that might not improve the next season.

Like any other sport, with disappointment comes transferring.

Rising 2nd year infielder Andrew Papantonis becomes the first to announce such a transfer.

The former Top 100 recruit (by Baseball America) only saw playing time in 12 games this season, including five starts.
