Another cold shooting night kills the Cavaliers. Unfortunately, while the Hoos have been able to storm back and even steal other games, FSU's hot shooting in the second half gives UVa their 3rd ACC loss of the season.
The first half sure was sloppy. For what seemed to be the entire half, the Cavaliers could not hit a shot outside the lane. It was not until 5 minutes were left in the 1st would UVa hit their true outside shot, when Malcolm Brogdon would hit a corner 3 to give the Hoos a 19-18 lead. London Perrantes and the rest of the offense would extend the lead to as many as eight before allowing the Seminoles to score the last five points of the half to cut the UVa lead to just 3; 28-25 at the half.
