Cavaliers Can't Complete Sweep, Fall to GT 5-4

The Cavalier pitching staff finally blinked this weekend, and it ended up costing the Cavaliers a sweep of the Yellow Jackets and ending their eight game winning streak.

After two overly impressive starts from Connor Jones and Alec Bettinger, Georgia Tech got to Adam Haseley for five runs on eight hits in just four innings.

It was not a string of hits that helped the Jackets salvage the Sunday finale, but home runs, which is quite unusual for a game at Davenport Field. All five of the GT runs came via the home run. Two solo shots in the second inning followed up by another solo home run and a two run bomb in the fourth was all they would need.
