Danielle Collins continues her quest for back-to-back NCAA Singles crowns.
Three Cavalier tennis players entered Friday action in their respective NCAA Singles tournaments. All three advanced in straight sets to set up quarterfinal matches today.

Collins cruised in her first set against Jennifer Brady of UCLA, winning 6-1. The second set was much closer, and was also interrupted twice by rainfall. Collins eventually won the second set 7-5. She has won 16 straight matches.
Collins' quarterfinal opponent will be #7 seed Jamie Loeb of North Carolina, who will be a big step up from her prior opponents.
