Coming off a weekend to remember in Charleston and another midweek comeback and Coach O’Connor’s 600th win during the week against VMI, the Hoos are back at Davenport this weekend to take on Rutgers.
This will be the first matchup between Rutgers and Virginia since 1962, but diehard UVa baseball fans will know Rutgers has played in Charlottesville since then. The Scarlet Knights were apart of the Charlottesville Regional in the 2007 NCAA Tournament as the No. 2 seed, but did not play the No. 1 Cavaliers after they lost to a dumb team from some dumb state out west.
