Bronco Mendenhall discusses “mini bye week” and why he has to mute announcers

The Virginia Football team got a surprise week off last weekend after its game against Louisville was postponed one week as the Cards dealt with an outbreak of the coronavirus. There is still the weekly testing to be conducted before we know if the game will be on for this Saturday, but Virginia reported just one positive across the entire athletic department as of November 9.

Latest UVa athletics COVID-19 testing update:

- 736 tests administered from Nov. 2-8
- 1 positive test result
- 10,800 tests administered since July 5
- 92 total positives— Bennett Conlin (@BennettConlin) November 9, 2020

Despite the last minute change to the Louisville game, it wasn’t all bad news for the Hoos.
