For only the second time this season, the Virginia Cavaliers were able to break the rock to celebrate a win as the Hoos took down the No. 15 North Carolina Tar Heels for the fourth straight year. Sophomore QB Brennan Armstrong earned the honors this week following a career-best performance.
Armstrong put up a whopping 208 passing yards on 12 connections, scoring three passing touchdowns to match his career best against No. 1 Clemson earlier in the season. He also added to that 66 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown for a career-best four touchdowns.
