The 2,000 mile journey to Virginia did not seem to effect the Boise State football team on Friday. Before the game could even reach the seven minute mark the Broncos had scored 17 points. Virginia couldn’t come back from this huge lead allowing the Broncos to win 56-14.

Boise State had just lost their starting quarterback Ryan Finley the week before during their 52-0 win over Idaho State University due to a broken ankle sustained in the game. Coach Bryan Harsin and offensive coordinator Eliah Drinkwitz had announced that they would be playing both Thomas Stuart and Brett Rypien as quarterbacks against Virginia.
