Baseball America recently surveyed college coaches across the country in search of who is the best Assistant in the game.
To no surprise of Virginia Baseball fans, Associate Head Coach Kevin McMullan was the lead vote getter earning him the title of “Top College Baseball Assistant Coach.”
This certainly is not the first time Coach “Mac” has been recognized as the best at his craft. Following the 2009 season, and UVa’s first trip to the College World Series, Mac was named the National Assistant Coach of the Year. He was also previously named the Top Assistant Coach by Baseball America in 2012.
