Baseball's Bats Explode en route to SWEEPING Pitt

The Cavaliers were able to finish the job they started on Saturday with an offensive explosion Sunday afternoon, shoring up the series sweep of Pitt.

And while the offense did come through with 16 hits, starting pitcher Adam Haseley turned in one of his finest starts for UVa. The 2nd year went deep into the game giving the bullpen further rest. Haseley was able to go eight full innings, shutting out the Panthers and holding them to just five hits and only one hit by pitch.

In the 9th, the bullpen got a little shaky. Tyler Shambora began the inning and allowed a single and walk before O'Connor brought on David Rosenberger.
