Duke won the national title this past April, largely due to the efforts of its powerful freshman class. Despite this victory, for the past four years the ACC tournament title has gone to teams with more returning players. Florida State (2012), Miami (2013), Virginia (2014) and Notre Dame (2015) were all aided by the leadership experience of senior players in winning the ACC title.
Anthony Gill and Malcolm Brogdon will both return to Virginia for their senior seasons.
Most all of the returning ACC powerhouses are receiving significant freshman talent to add to their rosters, but none on the scale of Duke.
