Recruiting is a strategy that requires coaches to plan far in advance. For the top ACC teams, this means rosters for incoming freshmen in 2016, a year from now, are already rapidly coming together. We now assess which teams have had the most success in garnering commits for next year’s class.
Virginia’s 2016 commits include Ty Jerome, Kyle Guy, Jay Huff and Mamadi Diakite. These four recruits will provide Virginia with an influx of versatile talent. With Anthony Gill, Mike Tobey, Evan Nolte and Malcolm Brogdon all departing and London Perrantes entering his senior year in 2016, these commits will help the Cavaliers in a time of transition.
