2015 NCAA Baseball Tournament: Virginia headed to UC Santa Barbara Regional to face USC Trojans

Virginia Baseball discovered their NCAA Tournament fate as they drew the third seed in the Lake Elsinore Regional, being hosted by the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos. They will be joined by the second-seeded USC Trojans, and the fourth-seeded San Diego State Aztecs.

Virginia will begin the Road to Omaha on Friday at 6 p.m. Eastern against USC. The winner of the Lake Elsinore Regional will take on the winner of the Los Angeles Regional featuring UCLA, Ole Miss, Maryland, and Cal State Bakersfield.

Head coach Brian O'Connor told the media that pitcher Nathan Kirby will not be starting either of the first two games of the Regional, and that his availability would be monitored.
