It was a close game until Villanova took momentum late in the first half. The ‘Cats pulled away in the second for the win. Early scoring from Jeremiah Robinson-Earl combined with a late run from Collin Gillespie gave Villanova separation.
Robinson-Earl helped the ‘Cats with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Collin Gillespie also scored 18 points with five assists. Justin Moore helped out with 13 points. Jermaine Samuels chipped in 12 points and six rebounds.
