As has been expected for quite some time, Villanova Wildcats wing Saddiq Bey is going to remain in the NBA Draft and forego his remaining eligibility on the Main Line. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski broke the news early this morning.
Bey is considered one of the safest picks in a weak draft and borderline lottery talent by most scouts, so the decision comes as no surprise at all. He’s going to get a nice payday and hopefully remain in the NBA for a long time after a standout sophomore season on the Main Line.
