While the short-term news is that Darryl Reynolds is out for today’s game at Xavier (he’s officially listed as day-to-day with a rib injury), the long-term news is that redshirt freshman Tim Delaney will be out for the remainder of the season with a torn labrum in his left hip. This second season ending hip injury brings about questions about his future.
Delaney missed all of last season after having two surgeries, one on each hip. He was slowly making his way back int the rotation for Villanova this season, having appeared in 7 games mostly in mop-up duty.
