Lost in an easy victory last night was a piece of troublesome news. City of Basketball Love is reporting that Villanova forward Kris Jenkins is set for an MRI on his right knee after suffering what the school is currently calling a sprain.
Via CoBL:
"Not definite, but it’s not good," Wright said. "He’s going to get an MRI, but it wasn’t something where they thought he could go back and try to play. They said it’s serious enough where we need to get an MRI before we can do anything."
Jenkins finally broke out of a season-long slump against Virginia with 23 points but made it just 10 minutes against Delaware before exiting.
