It has been known for a while that the National Champion Villanova Wildcats would be heading to Spain. On Friday, details from campus emerged about Nova's European Summer Trip.
The 'Cats will head to España on August 2nd with a first stop in Barcelona where they will play an exhibition on August 5th. Jay Wright will then take the squad to the capital, Madrid, where 'Nova will play two additional exhibitions on Sunday the 7th and the following Tuesday, August 9th.
All three of Villanova's exhibitions will be against "select" teams comprised of players from Liga ACB, Spain's top professional league.
