It was a quiet week as the squad had no games surrounding the Christmas holiday, but the Villanova Wildcats (9-2) have held their Top 10 spot in the newest AP Poll that was released on Monday.
Gonzaga remains the top team in the country as they collected 63 of 65 first place votes in the final poll of the 2019 calendar year. Duke, Kansas, and Oregon round out the Top 4. Ohio State and Baylor, who have been the only ones to knock off ‘Nova this year, come in at #5 and #6 respectively.
The ‘Cats and #11 Butler are the only BIG EAST schools in the Top 25.
