Happy Thursday Nova Nation! Today at Noon Eastern, the Big East will officially add UConn as the 11th member of the conference:
The move has been talked about all week, and at the end of the day it looks like a big win for everyone but UConn football fans. For Villanova, this checks a lot of boxes that fans have been asking for:
- Expand to 20 conference games with a quality opponent
- Established rivalry games
- More competitive non-conference schedule
To that last point, until there’s a major shift the Wildcats will have most of their games planned out before the off-season even begins.
