Villanova assistant Ashley Howard linked with Loyola-Maryland job

Loyola-Maryland needs a new head coach following the resignation of G.G. Smith, and they may be targeting Villanova Wildcats assistant Ashley Howard.

Hearing Ashley Howard (Villanova), Jay Young (Rutgers), Luke Murray (Xavier) and Billy Donlon (Northwestern) are among those getting a serious look from Loyola Maryland for the open head coaching position.

Howard has been in the coaching ranks for over 15 years, paying his dues and learning his craft a La Salle (his alma mater), Drexel and Xavier in addition to his 5 years at Villanova.
