Jim Boeheim does not like man-to-man defense. The last time he used it was in an embarrassing exhibition loss to the LeMoyne Dolphins seven years ago. That sort of thing can apparently swear a 2-3 zone devotee off of the man-defense for a while, it seems, but Boeheim coached it up again on Tuesday when the Orange played a sloppy exhibition against Indiana (PA) -- the same school Villanova will face on Saturday.
Syracuse fell behind early against IUP, and had to press the Pennsylvania DII school to get back into the game. They eventually settled back into a 2-3 and pulled away, 83-65.
