Germantown Academy (Pa.) quarterback Kyle McCloskey committed to Villanova on Monday afternoon. He announced the commitment on Twitter. He's the first verbal in the class of 2017, and in the Mark Ferrante era.

McCloskey is a 6'4" 205 pound southpaw signal caller who chose the Wildcats over offers from Bowling Green, Toledo and Ohio from the FBS, and most notably Delaware from the FCS among many other offers.
