With a trip to San Antonio on the line, Villanova and Texas Tech will meet inside of Boston’s TD Garden on Sunday afternoon. Villanova survived West Virginia while the Red Raiders threw aside an Isaac Haas-less Purdue team to make the final eight.
For the third straight game, Jalen Brunson will do battle with a very talented lead guard. This time out, Keenan Evans will line up opposite him and attempt to dethrone the National Player of the Year-elect.
Villanova’s offense continues to cook at a high rate, but Tech provides another stiff defense for the Wildcats to out-manuever.
