Kris Jenkins' life changed in a flash after he hit a game-winning three-pointer Monday night to deliver the Villanova Wildcats men's basketball team its first NCAA title since 1985, and the star swingman broke down the seconds that preceded the heroic 77-74 win after the game.
"I was open and was screaming at him [Ryan Arcidiacono]," Jenkins said, according to ESPN.com's Jeff Goodman. "For him to be so unselfish and give me the ball shows what type of [teammate] and person he is."
When asked if he believed the shot was going to fall when it left his hands, Jenkins didn't hesitate to assert confidence in his abilities.
