Chicago native Jalen Brunson received one of the best honors that a fan of the Cubs could ever receive; throwing out the first pitch at Wrigley Field. And, he did it the day after the Cubbies clinched the National League Central.
The sophomore point guard and Stephenson HS (Lincolnshire, IL) grad was honored by the North Side club before their game against the Milwaukee Brewers for winning the National Championship.
This must have been an amazing experience, for Brunson. For ‘Nova fans, the only downside to this was that he didn’t toss the first pitch to Wildcat Alumn, Matt Szczur.
