With Villanova securing a verbal commitment from Jermaine Samuels over the weekend, the Wildcats now have a Top-15 class in the country and are well on their way to improving on that mark.
The focus will likely shift to the backcourt. The popular theory is that the staff would like a 3-man class to replace the departing trio of seniors. There’s a lot to like about Samuels’ and Cosby-Roundtree’s skillsets but there are two things missing: ball-handling and shooting.
