The annual Holy War is here! Villanova travels down the street to St. Joseph’s (PA) today to take on the Hawks at Hagan Arena in a rivalry game that has been anything but in recent years.
While Villanova has risen to the top of the college basketball ranks, Phil Martelli’s Hawks have middled. They’ve had some success (reached the NCAA Tournament in 2014 and 2016), but missed the postseason completely in 2015 and 2017. Villanova has won the last five meetings by an average of 21.4 points. Can’t forget that!
