After an 8-day layoff (seriously, what the hell?) Villanova is back in action tonight as part of the Gavitt Games. The scheduling machine gave us a good one this year with the ‘Cats traveling to Columbus to take on Ohio State.
Both teams are ranked in the Top-25 which makes this a solid measuring stick game for both teams in November. With former Butler coach Chris Holtmann in charge, there will be plenty of system familiarity between the two coaching staffs as well.
This is the type of game that makes seeding difference come March, so let’s go and get that dub.
