It took Villanova over five years to find itself back on a losing streak, but hopefully it will only take five days to get off it. The Wildcats will look to return to their winning ways as they take on Canisius in the opening round of the Advocare Invitational today.
The Canisius Golden Griffins are 1-2 to start the season. Their lone victory came against Jay Wright’s alma mater Bucknell, but then they dropped their next two including a 33 point blowout against #14 Florida State.
