Per a source, Villanova has landed a verbal commitment from 2017 defensive lineman Jared Nelson. No official announcement yet from Nelson on any social media outlet, but his Twitter bio confirms that he has committed to the Wildcats.
Nelson is a 6'3" 250 lb. prospect from Glastonbury (Conn.) that plays for Glastonbury High School. He plays both offensive line and defensive tackle in high school. He's an athletic prospect who excels blocking in space on offense. He's also got a great motor, and even plays special teams for his high school teams. A real do-it-all player.
