Happy Thursday, 'Nova Nation! John Calipari is back in the news with another crazy idea to 'fix' college basketball, but this time the idea isn't so crazy. Cal wants college hoops in August - that's practices, exhibitions, etc.
He's got a point too. Football has spring practice and that generates a ton of media coverage. And August is typically one of the slowest sports months of the year, so there's an opening for somebody to grab. Why not college basketball?
Agree? Disagree? Personally, I'm all in favor of more Villanova Basketball.
