Villanova is back on top.
Thanks to a midweek win over Xavier, the Wildcats regain first place in the conference. Jenkins and Hart each had a 20-point game against the Musketeers, and Xavier head coach Chris Mack doesn’t like being bullied.

Later in the week DiVincenzo decided to put the team on his back to lead the `Cats past St. John’s. The Johnnies stayed close for most of the game but eventually Jenkins snapped his long 0-for streak to establish real distance in the game.
