Looking to bounce back from their Overtime loss to the San Jose Sharks on Thursday, the Vegas Golden Knights couldn’t get going offensively and were outclassed by a better Oilers team.
Connor McDavid scored two goals, including the first and last goals of the game, while Ethan Bear and Markus Granlund also got on the board for Edmonton.
Cody Eakin recorded his third goal in four games to make it a one-goal game at the end of the first period, while Shea Theodore scored a filthy effort to again give the Golden Knights a lifeline.
