We’ll start with Nikita Gusev, who is currently playing at the peak of his powers and giving Vegas Golden Knights fans a tantalising taste of what he could offer the franchise in 2019-20.
Gusev is on an absolute tear for Team Russia and he played a huge role in their 3-0 win against Team Switzerland on Sunday.
The left-wing had two assists in the game, including a sublime dish for Nikita Kucherov’s power play goal in the second period.
Gusev has been lights out for Russia in this tournament and he now has three goals and eight assists for 11 points, which puts him sixth overall on the scoring leaderboard and third overall in assists, behind Jakub Voracek of the Philadelphia Flyers and Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander.
