The most high-profile was the NBA deciding to suspend its regular season on Wednesday night after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19.
With the Jazz having played a number of teams with Gobert on the court, the NBA opted to suspend action for the foreseeable.
