They have plenty of players who probably won't crack the main roster (or any NHL roster, for that matter), leaving the Golden Knights in a rough position. But that's the price you pay for having a competitive team consistently in the running for a Stanley Cup.

Still, that didn't stop one prospect from being invited to attend the 15th annual 2025 NHLPA Rookie Showcase in Arlington, Virginia. Trevor Connelly will make his way down to the state for lovers on September 3rd, representing the Golden Knights along the way.
